On the surface to the world, Edwin Cooper displays a bit of an immature sort of personality to the world. He has been known to be stubborn and strong-willed, has been known to let his pettiness and vindictiveness get the better of him at the end of the day, and carries an obstinate disposition for himself. To a degree, he has shown signs of being selfish and self-absorbed at times, acting towards self-interest than philanthropy as being a hero usually entails along with taking many chances to stroke his ego or flaunt the success for his exams when the moment calls for it. There have been moments where he's been known to be hostile towards authority figures with little to no incentive to follow the instructions that have been given to him by them, causing him to earn the reputation of a loose cannon when placed in the battle. Edwin is also known to have a quick temper, resorting to a brawl to settle his disputes more than a rational negotiation to get through it, but not at the expense of his own personal morals. He has gained a reputation for having a foul mouth and being a hopeless sarcastic cynic, as he is happily to be blunt and harshly relieve others of their comfortable delusions regarding multiple criteria, including their self-importance. Finally, he's been known to have a lack of patience and inability to sit for too long. However, for those few people that have made a lasting impact onto him, Edwin shows his deeper nature to be one of marked selflessness, unflinching loyalty, and great compassion. As someone that has suffered the loss of his own mother, Edwin is unable to ignore the true suffering of others and will become sympathetic upon sensing pain and resolve in the heart of people. Though his solemn advice to such people is often tempered with brusque criticism, it is only because he genuinely wishes to direct them on the best path that he can. He will urge those with healthy bodies to use their strength to move forward, he stresses the necessity of people taking responsibility for their own errors in life, and to always help those with the will and not the means to be able to do so themselves. This causes him to have the recklessness and disdain toward authority figures in the times he does intervene in manners such as this, holding onto a sense of justice that he hopes will make him a "symbol of hope to the people." Edwin has been known to devote himself to the greatest of physical and mental health, attempting to have the best physique to be able to handle the emotional trauma he has endured, almost to the point where it has become an obsession with him to be able to meet the potential that his idols have achieved. With a lot of this to be able to bring a bit of happiness into the world from the dark past he has been dealt with and keep a face for people to not share in his pain, deep inside he is a depressed person that doesn’t have anyone left in his life or anything left to lose. This game has turned into more than just a game for him, but an escape. An escape that will either let him be able to live the life that he wants… or enjoy the last days that he has left.

Background Story:
Edwin Cooper was a kid that grew up with a normal life that was filled with innocence and happiness. He was a gamer that simply played his games, went to work to where he could make money to buy more games, and cared for his family that he had. His family consisted of his mother and siblings to where they all helped each other to take care of one another, as their father had abandoned them not too long ago. However, soon after that, a horrible fate would come. His mother would become sick in the hospital with cancer, breast cancer that had evolved into lung cancer, to where she had to be in constant care with the hospitals. After the news, the drunken father returned to where he had taken his siblings, but left him with his mother to deal with the emotions of losing his family. A few months later, his mother had passed away. Now alone in his life to where he had no one to fall back upon, he had turned himself towards drinking to be able to cope with the sadness and reality that he would never have that happiness or the family he desired to have ever again. More months passed to where he heard the news about a new game that was taken place. With the last bits of cash that he had on him, he decided to delve into his vices to where he purchased the game and now will make his way into what could be his final game.

The Reason Why You're in Debt:
The reason why Edwin is in debt is because of the enormous amount of money he needs to pay off the hospital bills for his mother, the funeral and burial of his mother, the house that he lives in, and other bills that have stacked up against him as a young adult dealing with the world.

Attack Moves:

Thunderstrike: Edwin imbues his fists and/or feet in lightning and strikes at his opponent with his palms and/or kicks.

Roaring Thunder: Edwin quickly gathers and releases a large quantity of lightning from his mouth at his target in a long stream.

Storming Barrage: Edwin first joins the open palms of his hands together, separating his palms while keeping the fingers in contact through their tips. Lightning is generated in the hollow part between his hands before he completely separates his hands, to make the electricity take the form of a large sphere, from which a number of electric rays are fired towards the target/targets in a curved trajectory.

Raging Tempest: Edwin spawns orbs of lightning all around him before directing them towards his opponent, all at once, as they are able to curve and track their opponent, but only in a forward motion.

Skyward Halberd: Edwin uses both hands to create a halberd created completely out of lightning, tossing it at the speed of lightning, almost unavoidable unless with the use of an ability to make the victim match its speed.

Defense Moves:
Thunderdome: Edwin creates a dome of lightning that protects him from opponent attacks, but is forced remain in the dome at all times and still, or the dome collapses.

Shining Flare: Edwin throws an orb of lightning in the air that explodes to where not only does he blind the victim, but disorients them to remain stunned for a limited amount of time.

Prism of Protection: Edwin manifests a shield-sized amount of electricity around his arm to deflect oncoming attacks towards his opponents.

Shining Light: Edwin can entered a heightened state of power at will. Upon entering this state, Edwin's body becomes cloaked in an aura of brilliant electric light with sparks of lightning surrounding him entirely. This allows him to better employ his lightning abilities while at the same time seemingly enhancing his physical prowess to a degree, particularly his speed and endurance.

Mjolnir - Thunder God's Rage: Edwin creates a massive hammer of lightning while generating a massive spike in energy before shooting off slamming the hammer down to the ground that sends a quake of lightning bolts that surges throughout a radius. As of now, he's only able to hit this attack once as it takes massive amount of energy that only Shining Light is able to give him, thus used for only desperation and last resort attempts in dire straits.

Mjolnir - Thunder God's Might: Edwin creates a massive hammer of lightning while generating a massive spike in energy before throwing the hammer directly towards his victim to where a trail of lightning bolts follows behind it. As of now, he's only able to hit this attack once as it takes massive amount of energy that only Shining Light is able to give him, thus used for only desperation and last resort attempts in dire straits.

In the case of an opponent trying to fight in the close encounter range, Edwin will use a martial arts style known as Chop Hanging Fist. (This is the style used by Bacchus Groh in Fairy Tail from the Quatro Cerebus Guild), Edwin will carry around a flask of any type of alcohol he feels like carrying around with him, an extra in case of some interesting brew that fancies him, that can only be opened by him. Drinking heavily on this allows him to tap into his Drunk-Chop Hanging Fist, making his movements more irrational and unpredictable, but makes him more aggressive and tending to focus only on the target against him, so this is primarily used when there is a need to end a fight quickly.
